Why choose online Yoga Teacher Training?
When you study your 200-hour or 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course remotely via our online training platform, all you need is a laptop and WiFi.
We'll give you access to our interactive multimedia lessons, presentations and recorded videos that you can watch again and again to deepen your learning. You’ll also be part of a group of students learning together, giving you an instant support network of likeminded peers.
Many of our students choose to study remotely to allow them to balance their training with other life responsibilities, and to become part of the Academy for Yoga Training wherever you are based, whether that’s in the UK or overseas!
You'll also have the full support of our teaching team, here to guide you through your journey, assess your progress and make sure you're getting the most out of your training, as well as your journey beyond.
Online study that goes deeper
YTT is such a physical experience, rooted in presence and connection - so how does it work through a screen? Our online Yoga Teacher Training Course has been designed with that question at its heart.
Rather than removing connection, the online format invites a different kind of presence. One that asks you to take ownership of your learning, to integrate the teachings into your own space, and to meet yourself more honestly in the process.
Through a blend of guided study, live sessions, shared practice and ongoing support, the course is a place where transformation happens gradually, steadily, and in a way that lasts.
You are given the time and space to absorb each part of the journey, and to practice, question, reflect, and integrate. You’ll build confidence not through pressure, but through repetition and understanding.
For those balancing work, family, or other commitments, the flexibility of studying online allows your training to be sustainable, rather than overwhelming.

One of the most important aspects of any teacher training is feeling supported. Throughout the course, Diane and our teaching team offer ongoing support, feedback, and presence. Whether through live sessions, conversations, or personal guidance, you are held within the process.
Choose from 200 or 250 hour YTT
Our comprehensive 200-hour course is ideally suited to students who have been practising yoga for at least two years, and who wish to immerse themselves in a disciplined course of self-study with commitment and integrity.
The 250-hour course takes things deeper, with two additional modules in Restorative and Menopause teaching on top of the 200-hour core syllabus This gives you a even more rounded skillset, to be able to teach a wide range of classes.
Whichever option you choose, you’ll be encouraged to adopt a yogic lifestyle throughout your training, by bringing the teachings off the mat and into your everyday life. This supports ongoing personal growth, inner peace, clarity and a stronger sense of gratitude and wellbeing.
For those who aspire to teach, you’re not just learning a sequence of poses; you’re learning to hold sacred space, to guide others not only in physical alignment but in inner journey, healing and self‑discovery.
Meet your teachers
You'll learn from our experienced team of teachers, each with a wealth of experience in teaching yoga - both in classes and for YTT.
The majority of your course will be led by Diane Lee, who has trained with leading yoga teachers like Ana Forrest, Shiva Rea and David Swenson, and has 25 years’ teaching experience. An accredited Senior Yoga Teacher and Trainer through YAP, she is also a fully accredited Yoga Sports Coach, and has worked with professional footballers, swimmers, and athletes. As a clairvoyant, Angel Healer and Level 2 Reiki practitioner, Diane also brings spiritual depth to her teachings.
Committed to yoga as a lifelong learning journey, Diane’s purpose in teaching yoga is to help others reach their infinite potential; her gratitude can be felt each time she teaches and shares her passion with her students.

What does the course cover?
At its core, this is a professional 200 hour yoga teacher training, giving you the skills and qualification to teach yoga professionally, should you wish to.
You will explore asana, anatomy, breathwork, meditation, philosophy and teaching methodology in a way that is both practical and embodied. You will learn how to sequence intelligently, how to hold space for others, and how to teach in a way that is safe, confident and authentic.
But alongside these tangible skills, we find that something else tends to happen; you begin to find your voice, trust your intuition, and see that teaching yoga is not about performing, but about sharing something real.
By the end of the training, you are not only prepared to teach; you are prepared to continue learning, evolving, and growing within the practice.
This intensive course is designed to challenge, inspire and strengthen you as you take the next steps on your yoga journey. We’ll cover themes that include:
The history, philosophy, anatomy, and physiology of Hatha Yoga
The Hatha Yoga asanas and how to teach them safely and confidently
The energy connections of each asana, through immersion into a spiritual practice
Learning each Pranayama and Meditation technique
Teaching methodology and sequencing.
Setting the intent and guidance of each class or practice
The importance of self-care, self-discipline, and removal of self-harm and harm to others
Living a yogic lifestyle, through the guidance of the eight limbs
Removing ego, resentment, frustration, fear and anger from your psyche
You’ll be accompanied by a fully comprehensive manual, with guidance and teaching from an array of excellent course teachers with decades of knowledge and experience. You will explore the history and philosophy of yoga, as well as the physiology and anatomy of the asanas, thereby learning how to teach confidently and safely - ultimately finding confidence to competently teach in your unique yoga style.
Ready for something bigger?
There often comes a point where you feel ready for the next step in life.
You might be ticking the boxes, showing up each day, and doing what’s expected… but underneath it, there’s a sense that you’re capable of more. Not necessarily more pressure or responsibility, but more meaning. More alignment with who you are and how you actually want to live.
For many people, yoga becomes the doorway into that.
Yoga is not just as a practice, but a path that opens up a different way of working and living. One where your time, energy and attention are going into something real, that genuinely helps people.
Starting a career as a yoga teacher doesn’t have to mean completely changing your life overnight. In fact, for most people, it begins gradually; by teaching a few classes alongside your current work, building confidence, and finding your voice. Letting it grow naturally.
Over time, it can become something more flexible, more independent, and more fulfilling than anything you’ve known before.
It’s not just about teaching postures. It’s about creating space for others to slow down, reconnect, and feel better in themselves. And in doing that, you often find that the work gives back just as much as you put into it.
If you’ve been feeling the pull towards something more meaningful, this could be where it starts.
Yoga Teacher Training for mind, body & spirit
Our yoga teacher training is designed to go far beyond the physical postures. While you’ll build a strong foundation in asana and anatomy, the deeper purpose of the course is to support an inner journey of awareness, reflection, and personal transformation.
You’ll be guided through yoga philosophy, breathwork (pranayama), meditation, subtle body awareness, and the psychological dimensions of yoga. These elements are woven together with the physical practice to help you understand yoga as a complete system, not just a physical discipline.
As the training unfolds, many students begin to notice a shift in how they relate to themselves, with a growing sense of connection, clarity, and presence that extends beyond the mat. (Read our reviews to see for yourself!)
This is not a rushed or surface-level experience. The course is designed as a space for reflection and integration, with opportunities for self-study, guided enquiry, group discussion, and personal contemplation. It creates the space to slow down, look inward, and explore your own experience more honestly.
Our Course Leader, Diane Lee, brings a depth of experience that extends beyond traditional teaching. As a spiritual coach and clairvoyant, she offers guidance that supports both practical understanding and deeper intuitive awareness. Her approach encourages you to move beyond technique alone, helping you develop confidence in your own inner guidance, presence, and perception.
The intention of the training is not only to prepare you to teach yoga, but to support you in developing a more connected and conscious way of moving through life.
