Become a qualified yoga teacher

Our Hatha Yoga 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course provides a firm foundation in yoga ethics, and trainees are expected to maintain a yogic lifestyle during training, practising yoga ‘off the mat’ as well as on it.

As well as deepening your own yoga practice as you learn the fundamental teachings of Hatha Yoga, with a focus on Pranayama and the synchronisation of breath and movement, the course will also equip you to plan, practice and teach your own yoga classes safely and with confidence.

For an even deeper training experience, you can also explore our 250-hour course, which combines Hatha, Restorative and Menopause yoga teacher training.

Learn online or in-person

This unique course is a blend of learning styles, and takes place over the course of four to five months.

If learning solely online via our Zoom and Facebook Live sessions, we blend this with interactive multimedia lessons, interactive presentations and recorded videos that you can watch again and again to deepen your learning.

For those training in person, you benefit from the blended learning as well as live face-to-face sessions.

Each course offers excellent teaching standards and adheres to the Academy’s ethos for integrity, strength and focus. Students on both courses have the opportunity to interact via a dedicated online group and receive unlimited and individualised support during this time.

This 200-hour course is ideally suited to those students who have been practising yoga for two years, and who wish to immerse themselves in a disciplined course of self-study with commitment and integrity.

Yoga Alliance Professionals registered Senior Yoga Teacher, Diane Lee, will be teaching a minimum of 70% of the course contact hours.

All students considered for the course should have been practising yoga for a minimum of 2 years.
